Alvarado Vacation Rental is nestled in the mountains of Southwest Virginia at 26486 Denton Valley Rd, Abingdon, VA 24211, just two miles from the Creeper Trail, South Holston Lake, and Holston River. It is approximately 10-15 minutes driving distance from Abingdon and Damascus Virginia, and about 30 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway (NASCAR).
Damascus is a very small, quaint town with a shuttle service for bike riding to Whitetop Mountain. Trout streams, perfect for fishing all year round are also close to the town.
Abingdon is a very old town with lots of historic houses to tour and a variety of festivals throughout the year.

Proprietors Fred and Carol Kaurish
I (Carol) grew up in this home. The home was built in 1954. My family farmed the land and the property is still owned by myself and two brothers. We will be glad to share with you stories about growing up in the area in the late 1940's to the present. The house sits on approximately 1 acre of land with many maple shade trees. The neighbors are friendly (Southern) and most are my friends who grew up with me.
