It is approximately 10-15 minutes driving distance from Abingdon and Damascus Virginia, and about 30 miles from Bristol Motor Speedway (NASCAR).
Damascus is a very small, quaint town with a shuttle service for bike riding to Whitetop Mountain. Trout streams, perfect for fishing all year round are also close to the town.
Abingdon is a very old town with lots of historic houses to tour and a variety of festivals throughout the year.
